Web technology is a  methods by which computers communicate with each other through the use of markup languages and multimedia packages is known as web technology this is collective name for technology primarily for the worldwide web. This does, however, tend to focus more specifically on technology that aides in the creation, maintenance, and development of web-based applications.

From a developers point of view, these are things like languages and frameworks, data storage mechanisms, services and products to allow us to create platforms and applications for the web.

ASP.NET is a Microsoft framework for web development that allows a developer to use languages like C# and VB.NET to build websites and web applications (a the web application is a website that offers functionality, storing data - text, images, etc.

You can find web frameworks for Java, Python and a few other languages so that developers can use a whole array of web technologies, rather than being pinned down to one. These are known as server-side technologies that live and run on a server somewhere.

On the other side, you have client-side web technologies, which include things like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (which includes JavaScript Frameworks like jQuery, Angular, and React). These execute run from the web page that a user loads, but actually run on the users (clients) computer.

However, web technology is not limited to developers. Web browsers, for example, are in the category of web technology as it is a technology that allows a user to access the web. FTP may also be considered a web technology as it is designed to send files over the Internet.

 Markup Languages


Markup languages are the languages in which the web is written. The most common markup language used is HTML, which uses tags to annotate text so that a computer can then manipulate the text. Most markup languages are human-readable and use annotations that are distinguishable from the annotated text. There are many different kinds of markups and languages, but all are consistent in the way in which they annotate documents.


Hypertext is defined as the arrangement of information inside a database that allows the user to receive information and to navigate from one document to another by clicking on highlighted words or pictures inside the primary document. Hypertext is the base of the World Wide Web because it enables the user to click on other links to get more information. Hypertext is a term used for all links, whether it appears as texts or other graphical parts.

HTTP Protocol

HTTP is an application used as the fundamental foundation of communication on the web. HTTP is the first letter you type in when inputting a web address. HTTP is a request-response protocol. The client might request something and the HTTP allows the client to access the information. Like when we updated our virtual machines the request we wanted was to go get updates for the software and HTTP request went out and got updates. If you were on a bank website or the wiki book site it would be https the ‘s’ meaning secure. That means that the computer is communicating on a secure network.


JavaScript is a scripting language that is used along with HTML and CSS as the three core components of the World Wide Web. JavaScript has first-class functions and is used on most websites. JavaScript does not have any I/O which means that it has to be embedded in the host environment. JavaScript is also used in PDF documents, game development, and desktop and mobile applications. JavaScript is most commonly used to make DHTML by adding client-side behavior to HTML pages.

Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community of web members to meet Web standards. It was founded by Tim Berners-Lee, an inventor of the Web, back in the 20th century. Blink and you might have missed it. The iPad Mini made an especially quiet debut as compared to the latest iPads in Apple’s latest event. With the dust now settled, it is easy to see why Steve Jobs was jovial of the 2011 tablets not being a match for the original Apple iPad, he had a point. Beautifully made, slim, and light, the iPad mini packs precisely the power of an iPad 2 into a tablet you’ll actually want to carry around.

The iPad Mini measures 7.87 by 5.30 by .28 inches (HWD), and is the slimmest tablet I’ve reviewed so far, and at 10.9 ounces, it is almost an ounce lighter than the Editors’ Choice the Nexus 7. Just like its older sibling the iPad 2, the mini features a glass screen surrounded by a very thin black or white button, with the usual Apple signature Home button below it. The rest of the buttons are located in the usual positions. Apple’s Volume controls, Home button, and Mute/Screen Lock Rotation switch are decently placed and easy to find. On the top left corner of the headphone jack, while Apple’s new compact Lightning port is on the center of the bottom edge.

The back is wraparound black (or silver for the white model) aluminum, and on the upper corner is the 5-megapixel iSight camera. The metal back is elegant but it’s by all measures an ergonomic mistake: It’s way too slippery. We expect to use a tablet with a single hand, thus we need slightly grippy material on the back panel. While the iPad mini is comfortable to hold due to its light-weight, its width spoils the party by pushing the center of gravity further from your palm, and most of the time it will feel like it is about to slip out of your hand.



Apple’s iPad mini comes with a 7.9-inch, 1,024-by-768 IPS LCD screen, that doesn’t look low-res on its own, but you can definitely spot the difference next to a 4th-gen iPad with Retina Display, a Kindle Fire HD, or a Nook HD. Being smaller, its size appears sharper than the iPad 2’s screen. Its colors are brighter than the Nexus 7, although it doesn’t match the Kindle Fire HD and Nook HD displays in neither colour depth nor brightness. If you are used to reading text on Retina Display, the low-resolution there will make the text look horrible. The display can sometimes appear quite reflective in ambient light than the Nexus and Kindle Fire HD. Since the iPad mini has a larger screen than most of its competitors, the keys on the on-screen keyboard are a little larger, too.

The iPad mini shares many specs with the iPad 2, including its 1GHz dual-core Apple A5 processor, screen resolution, and roughly the same performance. It features a 7.9-inch LED-backlight Multi-Touch Display with a maximum resolution of 1024-by-768, running on Apple iOS 6 (upgradable to the latest iOS 8.1). Web browsing is superb thanks to the mini’s faster 5GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi channel bonding. It offers up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge, with other integrated features such as GPS for excellent in-car navigation. Even with its awkward size and mediocre screen, the iPad mini-towers in its 275,000 specific apps supported by great graphics that enhance app development.




The single biggest surprise in the iPad mini must be loudspeakers. playing games, movies, or music on the iPad mini can crank the volume higher than expected and the sound isn’t clumsy, either. The two output speakers are located at the bottom of the tablet, not the back, so if the mini is on a table in front of you the speakers are pointing straight at you. It also supports wired and Bluetooth headphones, with a pretty powerful headphone amp with acceptable bass levels for any decent set of earphones. The mini’s 5-megapixel camera, which takes sharp, well-balanced shots in decent light with a 1-megapixel front camera for taking clear shots even in low light.



The 7.9-inch iPad Mini is as far as we’ve seen an authority in its class. You don’t have to compromise on many aspects as it is competitively priced, features leading-edge power, and unmatched supply of gorgeous apps. If you’re only going to buy one tablet, go with the big one. The 7.9-inch iPad mini is still very good, but it’s expensive, it’s a little ergonomically awkward, and while its apps are still better than competitors, the gap isn’t nearly as large.

Mi Smart Band 4 is an affordable fitness band from Xiaomi. With this, the fourth iteration of the Mi Band, Xiaomi has introduced a colour display and swim tracking, and still claims to offer 20-day battery life. The Mi Band lineup began with a product that didn't even have a display and now we get a device with an AMOLED colour display and lots of watch faces, which are nice to have. The Mi Smart Band 4 costs a little more than the Mi Band 3, but are its new features worth the asking price? We used it for a week to find out.

Design and build quality


  The Mi Smart Band 4 capsule does not fit into the charger very well. It kept popping out before eventually slotting in, which was quite annoying. This is the biggest design weakness of this product.

The Mi Smart Band 4 is comfortable to wear for long hours. We wore it throughout the day and while sleeping at night and never found it to be in the way. The band also offers a secure fit.

The 0.95-inch AMOLED display of the Mi Smart Band 4 is a great feature. The text looks crisp and the colours look nice too. We didn't have any issues reading it under direct sunlight, although we found the font for notifications to be a bit too thin.

The Mi Smart Band 4 has a lot of useful features such as the ability to track different types of workouts including swimming, sleep tracking, continuous heart rate monitoring, and notifications are displayed too. Our biggest problem with this device was that most of the useful features were disabled by default and we had to manually enable them in the app.

For example, sleep assistant (which helps get precise sleep data), notifications, and the option to wake the display when you lift your wrist were all disabled when we started using this device. The last one in particular is such a basic feature that it really should be the default behavior. These settings are not very easy to find either, which compounds the problem.

It's important to note that when we enabled each one of these features, we saw a warning message informing us that battery life might be reduced because of it. However, potentially missing out on some of the Mi Smart Band 4's best features is not a reasonable trade-off, in our opinion.

We've always appreciated the quality of the Mi Fit app and often noted how it's much better than the companion apps for several fitness bands priced higher than Xiaomi's Mi Band lineup. Our thoughts on the Mi Fit app remain largely the same even now. We think it looks good, and largely makes it easy to find the data you need. A couple of data points, such as historical data for exercise and running, were slightly hard to find because they weren't in an obvious spot. However, this is a minor quibble.

We'd have liked to have the Mi Smart Band 4 displayed on the main screen instead of under the Profile tab. This would allow us to modify preferences and watch faces for the wearable more quickly. Speaking of which, there are lots of watch faces for Mi Smart Band 4 and we liked quite a few of them. There are a lot of watch faces here and you can even create custom watch faces with photos from your smartphone. For custom watch faces, only the background photo can be changed but you do have three display styles for a bit a variety in terms of what's displayed on screen.



The Mi Smart Band 4 is another solid product in the Mi Band lineup. We loved its display, comfort, and workout tracking accuracy. The Mi Fit app is still quite good, and the ability to set custom vibration patterns for notifications is a godsend. However, the Mi Smart Band 4's default settings leave several essential features disabled. It's also a real shame that Xiaomi chose an inferior proprietary charger this time around. If you can live with these annoyances, the Mi Smart Band 4 is one of the best low-cost fitness bands you can buy right now and is well worth its asking price of Rs. 2,299.

Poco X3 will be unveiled globally on September 7. The launch the date was confirmed by Poco Global Twitter handle right after the announcement of the new Snapdragon 732G mid-range chipset. 

The Poco X3 Global launch is set for September 7 at 8PM(GMT+8). The launch event will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and also the MIUI community. The Poco X3 will be the successor to the Poco X2 which was launched in India back in February. The device will be called “Poco X3 NFC” and of course, it will pack in NFC. 


Qualcomm confirmed that the 732G will debut on an upcoming smartphone from Poco. The name of the smartphone wasn’t disclosed, but it is expected to be on the Poco X3 which was recently leaked. Since Poco India’s spokesperson spoke at the announcement, we could be hopeful for the device to launch in India later.

The Poco X3 is confirmed to come with a high refresh rate display and a 64MP camera. However, before things could go official, a fan site ruined Poco’s party by leaking the specs of the upcoming Poco X3. 


It also appears to have a redesigned camera module. It is said to be a 64MP quad-camera array on the back and a 20MP selfie shooter on the front. The battery will be rated at 5,160mAH battery and will support 33W fast charging. On the inside, the device is expected to pack in the new Snapdragon 732G SoC which promises 15% faster GPU performance with slightly overclocked CPU compared to the Snapdragon 730G.

According to the leaked specifications, the Poco X3 will have a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It is said to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded within the power button.

The Poco X3 will launch in a few Asian markets starting September 8. There’s no word on the device’s Indian launch yet.

The best driver size depends on the design of the particular headphones. Earphone drivers are usually 8mm – 15mm in diameter while headphone drivers are typically 20mm – 50mm. A larger driver produces stronger sound waves (particularly in the bass/sub-bass) but this doesn’t mean they sound better.

Speaker drivers


We are all used to hear the word speakers but seldom heard about drivers‘.

Well, technically speaking, the speaker and the driver combined is what lets out the audible sound output.

A a speaker driver is defined as a part of the speaker which converts electrical signals into sound output.

Earphones can have driver sizes ranging from 7-15mm and headphones usually come with drivers ranging from 30-50mm.


How does a speaker driver produce sound?


The the electrical signal from the host device – usually a Smartphone or a laptop to which the headphone/earphone is plugged into magnetizes the voice the coil inside the speaker.

This makes the voice coil to oscillate and push the air the column in front of it.

Types of speaker driver units inside a headphone/earphone


The four main types of drivers found inside the headphones/earphones on sale in the Indian market are as follows:

1.  Dynamic Driver Unit


Dynamic drivers are the most common type of drivers found inside the headphones and earphones in the market.

A dynamic speaker driver unit consists of three main parts namely – a magnet, a voice coil, and a diaphragm.

The magnet is usually a tiny neodymium strip which is one of the most powerful rare earth magnets available.

Ferrite magnets are also found on headphone/earphone speaker drivers, but these are not as efficient as neodymium magnets.

A voice coil, as the name suggests is a rounded coil made from a conducting material.

The diaphragm is the cone-shaped paper covering the inner the hardware of a speaker.


2. Planar Magnetic Drivers


Planar Magnetic Drivers relies upon the principle of electromagnetism, similar to the dynamic driver units.

These type of drivers are usually found on expensive premium headphones.

In a planar magnetic driver, the voice coil runs around the diaphragm with a static magnet placed nearby.

When the electrical signals reach the voice coil, the diaphragm oscillates back and forth, creating sound waves.

The difference between the planar magnetic driver and a dynamic the driver is in the fact that, in the later, the diaphragm movement is brought about by the vibrating air column behind


3. Electrostatic Driver Units


Headphones with electrostatic drivers are very uncommon in the market, primarily due to their ultra-expensive price tags and specific use-case scenarios.

There are no magnets involved in the operation and the working principle of these drivers are based on static electricity.

When the electric current hits the plates, alternate polarity current is induced on them, which in turn attracts and repels the perforated diaphragm resulting in the production of sound waves.

4. Balanced Armature Drivers


Balanced Armature Drivers are found on In-Ear monitor earphones.

This driver consists of an armature with a coil wounded over it, sandwiched between two magnets.

When there are no electrical signals, this armature stays perfectly balanced between the magnets.

When the current passes through the coil, the armature starts to oscillate back and forth, generating sound waves.

These drivers can be factory tuned for better response characteristics with musical notes of a particular frequency.

But at the same time, even a larger driver may not be able to output better quality sound and now you know why.
